Leanne is engaged in issues where technology, human rights, public policy and the law intersect.
With over two decades of experience, she has had previously held senior roles in the telecommunications sector including with Vocus, Security Group at NBN Co and at iiNet.
As a senior lawyer, Leanne played a central role in the landmark iiNet copyright litigation from trial through to the unanimous High Court win.
Leanne holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Honours Degree of Bachelor of Arts (History) from Monash University.
Her previous board experience includes serving as a Director of Communications Alliance, the Carlton Neighbourhood Learning Centre and Regina Coeli (now part of McAuley Community Services for Women).
