In 2025, I volunteered to re-enliven the dormant "Girl Geek Dinners" Meetup group recognising the ongoing desire for women in technology to gather outside of their day-to-day environments.
Given remote working, competing priorities, the format of the gatherings is now a monthly casual catch up at an inner-city bar where you can meet other women in tech in a relaxed environment.
